I researched over 20 velomobiles for suitable transportation around our 200 plus acre retirement community. Only two met my needs and one of those was much more costly and did not offer added value for my needs. So I bought a PEBL from Better.Bike.

I am most pleased with my sky blue vehicle which, during the milder months in which I used it, I almost never took my Prius out of the garage. ALL local errands were accomplished in PEBL.

I'm beginning to think, if it could get traction, it could go straight up the side of a building! Have no concerns about an area being too "hilly". It would do well in San Francisco!

My PEBL’s electric motor gives me confidence to ride. I was unable to ride for nearly 30 years. Now I ride at least 4 days each week, about 11.5 miles per day on work days 5.8 miles one way. I feel great and love the ride.
