This switch allows you to choose between the 750 watt “On Road” setting and the 1500 watt “Off Road” setting. The On Road setting complies to the federal ebike limits of a 750 watt motor and top assisted speed of less than 20 mph. The Off Road setting  provides more powerful hill climbing and a slightly higher top speed and should only be used on private property or in places that allow for the legal use of a 1500 watt motor and a top motor assist speed of 26 mph. The PEBL must be stopped to switch between the two settings.
